LOCAL MISSIONS pARTNERSHIPS
ANGELS & SPARROWS
Angels and Sparrows strives to fight hunger in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and surrounding areas. Angels and Sparrows serves a nourishing lunch Monday through Friday year round. LNBC volunteers help prepare and serve lunch the first Friday of each month.
CHARLOTTE Rescue Mission
CRM ministers the Good News of Christianity to individuals caught in the crisis of poverty, hopelessness, or addictions by meeting their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
LNBC supports CRM financially, with dedicated volunteers who serve breakfast to CRM clients monthly and by providing friendship and fellowship outings to graduates of the Rebound Addiction Recovery Program.
Community Pregnancy Center
The Community Pregnancy Center of Lake Norman provides abortion clinic alternative services. Free medical services provided include free pregnancy tests, pregnancy verifications and limited ultrasound for those from Mooresville, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville and Troutman, NC.
LNBC Missions is committed to being an active and engaged partner in the Huntersville Campus of the Community Pregnancy Center that opened in 2017!
The Bread of Life Mobile Food Ministry of LNBC is a ministry that delivers free hot meals in our local communities. Since 2011 more than 50,000 hot meals have been prepared and delivered in the name of Jesus.
Bread of Life of LNBC has also been a force in the community for promoting cooperation among area churches and schools. We appreciate the volunteer support and friendship provided by St. Philip Baptist Church, Davidson Presbyterian, Life Fellowship, Southlake Christian School and others.
Volunteers are able to participate in several different ways; shopping and food collection, meal preparation, ministering directly to those in need by delivering meals as part of a team to homes in local communities and going on mission trips where food is used as a powerful tool to spread the Gospel.
* Due to COVID-19, Bread of Life is operating in limited capacity. Reach out to Marty Helton to get involved. Email Marty.
